Abstract

This research discusses the problems that occur in Indonesian football. The background to the problem is the fixing, elephant football, dismissal of the Indonesian national team coach. This study aims to analyze the existing discourse on Mata Najwa Episode talkshows "What Can PSSI Do?". This study uses qualitative research methods and analysis with Teun A Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis model based on several elements of discourse structure: Macro structure, Superstructure, and Micro structure. The results of this study indicate that there are three conclusions obtained, namely, the macro structure refers to the overall meaning that can be observed from the topics or themes raised by the use of language in a discourse, analyzing the superstructure related to the introduction, content, closing and conclusions. Micro structure consisting of semantic, stylistic, syntactic and rhetorical elements shows that there are several discourses that have certain meanings.
