Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam has planned mining design for October to December, with a production target for October in the eastern pit 1 of 615,000 BCM for overburden and 545,000 tons for coal. However, in every operational activity, there is often a discrepancy between the design and the real condition in the field. There was also a mismatch between the October production target and the realization of October bull production, which amounted to 533238.28 BCM overburden and 646499.56 tons of coal. This mismatch is known after the reconciliation of the initial mine planning period with the progress of the mine at the end of the period. The purpose of conducting this reconciliation is to analyze the factors of occurrence of nonconformities, calculate the percentage of incompatibility of excavations, and analyze the impacts that occur. The data used for October, in the form of a sequence map, the progress of the mine in October, daily production data. This reconciliation uses Minescape software as a tool. The use of Minescape software is very helpful in calculating the number of differences in overcut and undercut volume and helps in calculating the area that occurs overcut and undercut. From the results of calculations using the Minescape software, it was found that there was an undercut of 2.69 Ha for horizontal undercut and 797,813.61 bcm for vertical undercuts. And there was also an overcut of 6.71 ha for horizontal overcut and 76,088.15 bcm for vertical overcut. The factors that influence the occurrence of non-conformity are that mining operations in the seam C mining area cannot be done because the area is flooded. The excavation activity which was constrained by the mining area was flooded with water, diverted to mine outside the boundary, which was mostly outcrop material or relatively thin overburden material, so that coal production realization exceeded the target while overburden was not achieved. Efforts can be made to optimize the pump and make a mining reserve area so that when an area is unable to produce it can be done in the reserve area so that nonconformities can be minimized.
