Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1) calculate how much income of smallholders palm oil farmers in Peninggalan village Tungkal Jaya District, MusiBanyuasin Regency, 2) analyzing the factors that influence the production of smallholders palm oil farmers in Peninggalan village Tungkal Jaya District, MusiBanyuasin Regency, and 3) analyzing the production efficiency of sustainable smallholders palm oil farmers in Peninggalan village Tungkal Jaya District, MusiBanyuasin Regency. This research was conducted in Peninggalan Village, Tungkal Jaya District, MusiBanyuasin Regency. Site selection is done deliberately (purposive). Data collection was carried out in December 2019 until January 2020. Income is calculated using the formula of income, factors affecting production are analyzed by the Cobb-Douglas function, and production efficiency seen from the Marginal Product Value (NPM) equal to the input price (P). The results of the research that have been conducted show that the average income of smallholders palm oil farmers is Rp21.061.201,- per hectare, the factors affecting production are fertilizer and the factors that have insignificant affecting are pesticides, labor and land area, and use production inputs to smallholder palm oil farmers in Peninggalan Village for land area and inefficient labor, fertilizers and pesticides have not been efficient.
