Abstract

This research has been conducted to find the intrinsic and genetic elements found in the Tanah Tabu novel by Anindita S. Thayf. This study aims to describe the intrinsic and genetic elements found in the Tanah Tabu novel by Anindita S. Thayf. The method used in analyzing the Tanah Tabu novel by Anindita S. Thayf used descriptive analysis method with genetic structuralism approach. Tanah Tabu novel by Anindita S. Thayf. The data collection technique in this study uses literature study techniques and note-taking techniques. Data processing techniques contained in this study use content analysis techniques. The results of the content analysis showed that the worldview of the author is a transindividual subject which is energy to build a worldview. Thus, the struggle of Anindita S. Thayf in voicing the rights of small communities and their efforts to create didactic literary functions for their readers is the energy that characterizes the struggle of Anindita S. Thayf as a whole as an affirmation of her conclusions in her worldview. The implication in learning literature in high school class XII with Curriculum 2013 related to material analyzing novels with basic competencies 3.1 Interpreting the views of authors on life in novels that are read and 4.1 Presenting the results of interpretations of the views of authors.
