Abstract

This study entitled "Accountability of the Use of Village Funds in Sri Tiga Village, Sumber Marga Telang Sub-District, Banyuasin District, South Sumatera". This study aims to determine how financial accountability of the use of village funds at Desa Sri Tiga Village, Sumber Marga Telang Sub-District, Banyuasin District, South Sumatera. The type of this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods are by interview, documentation, and observation. This study uses the theory of financial accountability by Hopwood and Tomkins, which is measured by dimensions of economics, efficiency, effectiveness, and financial reporting. The results of this study showed that out of the four dimensions of accountability of village funds in Sri Tiga Village Sumber Marga Telang Sub-District, Banyuasin District, South Sumatera not accountable for the dimension of financial reporting because there is no medium for disclosure of financial statements and incomplete evidence of cash disbursement.
