Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and practical interactive animal theme teaching material for kindergarten children in Group B. The research method is the Rowntree model and modification of the Tessmer formative evaluation. The Rowntree Development Model has three settings, planning, development and evaluation. In evaluation, it consists of empathic, namely self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, small group evaluation. Data collection techniques consist of walkthroughs and observations. The results showed that the material validity was 98% and the media validity was 91%, the average product validity was 95% with a very valid category. Phase one to one evaluation involved three children with 90% results and small group evaluation involving nine children with 91% results, from an average of 90% with a very practical category. The advantages of interactive teaching material products are that it can increase the attractiveness of children so as to increase interest in learning and can combine several videos, texts, images, audio in one unit that is most supportive in order to achieve the desired learning. Thus the product in the form of Interactive Animal Theme Teaching Material Can Be Categorized Very Valid And Practically Worthy of Use.
