Abstract

Lahan yang terbatas menjadi salah satu permasalahan dalam proses pembangunan pada wilayah perkotaan, sehingga untuk memaksimalkan fungsi dari lahan yang tersedia dilakukan pembangunan bangunan tinggi. Salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam merencakan bangunan tinggi adalah dampak dari gaya angin yang akan bekerja pada bangunan tinggi tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Tower Gedung Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang dengan menganalisis beban angin berdasarkan SNI 1727 – 2013 menggunakan program SAP2000. Dengan kecepatan angin dasar sebesar 18 m/s berdasarkan dari data BMKG, kinerja Tower Gedung Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang akibat beban angin yang bekerja termasuk dalam kategori aman. displacement terbesar adalah 0,00548 m pada elevasi 36,27 m.
