Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh metode pembelajaran Buzz Group terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja”. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh metode pembelajaran Buzz Group terhada hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu perlakuan dan tanpa perlakuan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh kelas XI yang berjumlah 122 peserta didik, sedangkan sampelnya berjumlah 60 peserta didik yaitu kelas eksperimen (kelas XI IPS 1) berjumlah 30 peserta didik dan kelas kontrol (kelas XI IPS 3) berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pelaksanaan tes yaitu post test yang berjumlah 20 soal berbentuk pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, dikelas eksperimen diperoleh rata-rata nilai hasil belajar peserta didik tes akhir sebesar 79,93, sedangkan kelas kontrol rata-rata nilai hasil belajar peserta didik tes akhir sebesar 73,53. Selanjutnya data analisi dengan menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan dk = n1 + n2 – 2 = 58 yaitu 1,67, diperoleh uji hipotesis t hitung sebesar 2,46 karena t hitung > t tabel (2,46 > 1,67) maka terima Ha dan tolak Ho, artinya pembelajaran sejarah dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran Buzz Group memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dikelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja.
