Abstract

The study was entitled "Analysis of Pancasila Values ​​in Minangkabau Marriage (Baralek) in Rao Pasar District of Rao Pasaman Regency".This research aims to find out the values ​​of Pancasila contained in the Minangkabau (Baralek) marriage custom in Rao Pasar. This study uses a qualitative approach that becomes a social situation in this research is "Pancasila values ​​in Minangkabau (Baralek) marriage customs in Rao Pasar. With the details of Rao Pasar, Rao Subdistrict, Pasaman Regency as a place of study (place) of people who live in Pasar Rao as actors, and their attitudes / habits in carrying out customary marriages as an activity that is meticulously (activity). Samples were obtained by using purposive sampling technique with a number of informants as many as 5 people consisting of traditional institutions, parents of the bride and bride and groom. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and data verification. From the analysis of interview data it can be seen that in the Minangkabau (baralek) marriage custom in Rao Pasar, it includes divinity values humanity values unity values deliberation values and justice values. Key word : values of pancasila, marriage customs Minangkabau (baralek).
