Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “ Perkembangan Perajin Rotan di Kelurahan 3 Ilir Palembang Tahun 2000-2009 (Sumbangan Materi Pada Mata Kuliah Sejarah Perekonomian).” Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah bagaimana perkembangan perajin rotan di Kelurahan 3 Ilir, tahun 2000-2009 selain itu dalam skripsi ini juga mengangkat masalah bagaimana perkembangan kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat perajin rotan di Kelurahan 3 Ilir tahun 2000-2009. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan perajin rotan di Kelurahan 3 Ilir, dan juga untuk mengetahui perkembangan kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat perajin rotan di Kelurahan 3 Ilir tahun 2000-2009. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode historis dengan teknik pengumpulan data dari wawancara dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa perajin rotan di Kelurahan 3 Ilir mengalami perkembangan pada tahun 2000-2009 dengan melihat jumlah perajin yang mengalami penambahan, keberadaan sentra industri kerajinan rotan di Kelurahan 3 Ilir ini memberikan dampak terhadap kehidupan masyarakat perajin rotan yaitu dampak positif dan dampak negatif.
