Abstract

This thesis is titled "The Monument to The Struggle of The People of South Sumatra in Palembang City in 1970 – 2016”. The problem raised is how the process of monument to the struggle of the people of South Sumatra in Palembang city, how is the role of management in the development of the struggle of the people of South Sumatra in Palembang, what obstacles faced by the manager in the development of the monument to the struggle of the people of South Sumatra in Palembang city.The research method used is historical and research steps, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation of data, historiography, the results of this research are renovations in the environment of the struggle of the people of South Sumatra conducted by the manager to increase the interest of local people and tourists to visit the monument to the struggle of the people of South Sumatra.
