Abstract
Microstrip antennas are developing very rapidly in telecommunication systems especially in Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) networks whose frequency is 2.4 GHz. Antennas using radio waves as signal transmitters and receivers. The microstrip antenna designed in this study is an antenna with peripheral slits which consists of 6 slits that work at a frequency of 2.4 Ghz. Microstrip antenna based peripheral slits are designed using the help of CST Studio Suite software. Microstrip antenna based on peripheral slits was designed using FR-4 Epoxy substrate with a dielectric constant (Ɛr) = 4.3 with substrate thickness (h) = 1.6 mm resulting in a gain value of 5.716 dB with Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) of 1.0303992, and return loss of -36.494388 dB.
