Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran materi gelombang bunyi dengan model problem based learning terhadap keterampilan proes sains siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pre-eksperimental one group pre-test post-test design dengan sampel seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA 2 yang berjumlah 33 siswa. Pengumpulan data pre-test dan post-test menggunakan tes essay sebanyak 11 soal, pre-test dilakukan sebelum penerapan model problem based learning dan post-test dilakukan setelah penerapan model pembalajaran problem based learning. Dari hasil penelitian didapat rata-rata pre-test sebesar 49,66 dan rata-rata data post-test sebesar 77,12. Nilai rata-rata-rata post-test lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata pre-test, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil keterampilan proses sains siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,54 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang.
