Abstract

This study aimed to prove the effect of active learning strategies type everyone is a teacher here on the learning motivation of students in economic subjects in State Senior High School 1 Tanjung Raja. This study is an experimental research with a Quasi Expeimental design and a form of Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study were all of 10th grade social sciences in State Senior High School 1 Tanjung Raja and the sample of this study is second 10th grade social sciences as experimental grade and first 10th grade social sciences as control grade. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling, sampling technique was conducted randomly so it’s obtained second 10th grade social sciences as experimental grade and first 10th grade social sciences as control grade. The data were collected used questionnaire and observation. The data analysis techniques on the learning motivation data were obtained from the results of learning motivation questionnaires given to students before and after the treatment of active learning strategies type everyone is a teacher here, and observation data obtained from the results of observations when implemented learning strategies. The hypothesis used parametric statistic with pearson product moment correlation that was obtained as much as 0,938 which means the correlation is very strong, the effect of magnitude of X variable to Y variable with the determinant coefficient formula as much as 87,98%, and the result of the t test used Separated Varians tcounted 31.43 ≥ ttable 2.048 meant Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that there was the effect of active learning strategies type everyone is a teacher here on the learning motivation of students in economic subjects in state senior high school 1 Tanjung Raja. It is recommended that in school is implemented an active learning strategies type everyone is a teacher here to encourage students to carry out learning activities so that it is active during the learning process and it is better when the teacher implements an active learning strategies type everyone is a teacher here the teacher keeps the class condition to be more conducive learning takes place well.
