Abstract

This research was based on the problems that still occurred in the implementation of Light Rail Transit service standards in South Sumatera Province regarding to the less maintained facilities such as train seats and running text of route information and public outreach that far from the Light Rail Transit station. This research aims to find out the implementation of Light Rail Transit service standards in South Sumatera Province. The research method that used was the quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaire, observations, and documentation. Theory that used was Service Standard Theory by Sianipar which consists of six dimensions, namely the attitude of personnel standards, service quality standards, time standards, conveniences standards, safety standards, and cost standards. The result of this study found that the the implementation of Light Rail Transit service standards in South Sumatera Province has been implemented well. In this study, authors suggest to provide online complaint services, add some routes that unreachable by intermodal integration, enhance the promotion and socialization regarding intermodal integration, conduct routine supervision at least three times a week, socialize and educate the public about facilities and information of safety Key Word : Standard, Service Standards, Light Rail Transit of South Sumatera Province
