Abstract
The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of students in grade V SD 04 Palembang on the Theme of Events in Life by applying the Scramble learning model. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 3 action cycles. The subjects of this study were students in class V C, which amounted to 31 students consisting of 16 male students and 15 female students. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations. The results showed that the value of student learning outcomes has increased, this can be seen from the completeness of student learning in the first cycle with the acquisition of values that reached 75 or more as many as 18 students with a percentage of 58.06%. In the second cycle the mastery learning of students increased with the acquisition of values that reached 75 or more as many as 22 students with a percentage of 70.96%. In the third cycle the mastery learning of students increased with the acquisition of values that reached 75 or more as many as 26 students with a percentage of 83.87%. This is supported by the results of observations, the activeness of students has increased, in the first cycle the activities of students are in the category of moderately active with a percentage of 57.66%, then increased in the second cycle with a percentage of 69.62% with the active category, then in the cycle III with a percentage of 80.91% with the active category. The results of this study can be concluded that by applying the Scramble learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students in class V SD Negeri 04 Palembang on the Theme of Events in Life
