Abstract
PT. Jresources Sago Prima Pratama is a gold mining company located in Nunukan district, North Kalimantan Province. At PT. SPP has 2 transport lines which are both used as ore transportation routes. The purpose of this research is to analyze the road geometry factor and the fuel ratio of the conveyances based on their productivity level in determining a more economical haul route. According to the equipment specifications, the minimum road width in straight conditions is 17.8 meters and in curved conditions is 20.38 meters. Superelevation according to tool specifications is 0.02 m / m, maximum grade is 10%, and cross slope as high as 40 mm / m. Based on direct observations, the actual width for the North line in straight conditions is 20 meters wide and in bend conditions is 23.5 meters wide. For the South lane, the road width in straight conditions is 18.66 meters wide and in the bend conditions 25.9 meters wide. Based on the calculation of the fuel consumption of the conveyance when going through the North route is 31 liters / hour with a fuel ratio of 0.233 liter / ton. Meanwhile, the fuel consumption of the conveyance when going through the South route is 32.25 liters / hour with a fuel ratio of 0.251 liter / ton. The fuel cost for the North route is Rp. 1,029,324,137 and South Rp. 1,110,449,072, and a saving of Rp. 81,124,934. If the transportation is carried out via the northern route, a saving working will be obtained. The working time for the transportation means is 346 hours on the North route and 359 hours for the South route, with a difference of 13 hours being faster if using the North route. So it is obtained a saving fuel consumption of 411.14 liters, with a total saving of working time of Rp. 39,469,368. Then the total saving obtained by PT. SPP of Rp. 120,594,303 in September 2019 if the North route becomes the main ore transportation route.
