Abstract

Erosi merupakan peristiwa alami dimana terangkutnya tanah yang diakibatkan oleh air hujan, yang mana besarnya erosi dipengaruhi oleh curah hujan, jenis tanah, kemiringan lereng dan faktor penggunaan lahan. Peristiwa erosi dapat diperparah dengan adanya campur tangan manusia, seperti penggundulan hutan skala besar dengan tujuan untuk dijadikan lahan pertanian atau pertambangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar faktor panjang dan kemiringan lereng mempengaruhi erosi yang terjadi pada sub DAS Lematang Hulu yang merupakan daerah yang berlereng curam. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode RUSLE (Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation) dalam menghitung besarnya nilai erosi, dan metode USPED (Unit Stream Power Erosion and Deposition) dalam memprediksi erosi dan pengendapan sedimen. Dari hasil analisis erosi metode RUSLE M.1 pixel dengan erosi tertinggi adalah sebesar 2.205,14 ton/ha terjadi pada sub-sub DAS Endikat Kiri, untuk erosi rata-rata tertinggi juga terjadi pada sub-sub DAS Endikat Kiri dengan nilai ton/ha, sementara pada RUSLE M.2 nilai erosi untuk kelas lereng diatas 5%, nilai erosi turun 2-3% dibanding dengan M.1. Pada analisis metode USPED, erosi rata-rata tertinggi adalah sebesar -156,46 ton/ha dan deposisi tertinggi adalah sebesar 310,44 ton/ha yang terjadi pada sub DAS Endikat Kiri.
