Abstract

Pabrik metil metakrilat direncanakan berlokasi di Jalan Amerika Kelurahan Warnasari, Kecamatan Citangkil, Kota Cilegon, Provinsi Banten. Pabrik ini meliputi area seluas 4,5 Ha dengan kapasitas 55.000 ton pertahun. Proses pembuatan metil metakrilat mengacu pada US Patent 2018 9,963,417 B2, proses yang dilakukan melalui tahap direct oxidative esterification antara metakrolein, metanol, dan oksigen serta bantuan katalis Au/SiO-Al2O3 menjadi metil metakrilat yang berlangsung di trickle bed reaktor (R-01) pada temperatur 80 oC dan tekanan 6 bar dengan reaksi sebagai berikut : C4H6O(aq) + CH3OH(aq) + 1/2 O2(g)  C5H8O2(aq) + H2O(l) (Metakrolein) (Metanol) (Oksigen) (Metil Metakrilat) (Air) Pabrik ini merupakan perusahaan yang berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff, yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur dengan jumlah karyawan 147 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik metil metakrilat (MMA) ini dinyatakan layak untuk didirikan dengan analisa ekonomi sebagai berikut: • Total Capital Investment (TCI) = US $ 27.589.874,04 • Total Production Cost (TPC) = US $ 100.173.721,82 • Total Penjualan per Tahun (SP) = US $ 127.299.895,82 • Annual Cash Flow (ACF) = US $ 22.353.173,33 • Pay Out Time (POT) = 1,4314 tahun • Rate of Return on Investment (ROR) = 73,73 % • Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) = 89,92 % • Break Event Point (BEP) = 34,71 % • Service Life = 11 tahun Kata Kunci : Metil Metakrilat, Direct Oxydative Esterification, Trickle Bed Reactor, Analisa Ekonomi
