Abstract
This research aims to know the effect of giving reward and punishment on employee performance of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. This study uses quantitative research method. The type of data uses primary data that acquired from questionnaires which distributed to employees of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. The method of collection data uses questionnaire technique which consists of twenty statements. The subject of this research is 93 respondents. The method of data analysis uses instrument test, classic assumption test, multiple regressions linear, and hypothesis test, meanwhile the method of data processing uses IBM Statistic 22. The result of this study shows that the giving of reward does not affect the employee performance, while the giving punishment affects the employee performance.
