Abstract

This study was motivated by forest and land fires that occurred in the district. Ogan Komering Ilir in 2015 and will increase in 2017 compared to the previous year. This study aims to study the process of the Implementation of Policies on Forest and Land Fire Prevention in Ogan Komering Ilir District, South Sumatra in 2017. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, documentation and observation. The theory used in this study is the theory of Leo Agustino, where evaluation of this implementation will be seen from five dimensions, namely Apparatus Resources, Institutional, Infrastructure and Technology, Finance and Regulation. Based on the research in the field, the results of the implementation of Regent Regulation No. 23 of 2016 concerning the Forest and Land Fire Control System have been running, but have not fully supported the fulfillment of support in terms of technology, finance and not related to the operational guidelines to support the support Land and Land in Kab.Ogan Komering Ilir. This study suggests that Regent Regulation No. 23 of 2016 concerning the Forest and Land Fire Control System will continue in the following year, Facility and Technology Improvement, evaluation of the budget for funds equipped with implementing instructions and technical instructions.
