Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya pemuda dalam melestarikan tradisi ningkuk di Desa Tanjung Lalang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah tiga orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara kepada subyek penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan melalui metode triangulasi, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemuda di Desa Tanjung Lalang dalam melestarikan tradisi ningkuk yaitu menciptakan minat terhadap tradisi dengan cara melakukan sosialisasi secara langsung kepada para pemuda dan penggunaan media sosial, mengembangkan tradisi dengan cara melakukan partisipasi dalam pelaksanaan tradisi, dan pemberdayaan terhadap tradisi dengan cara memberikan fasilitas dan menjalin suatu kerjasama dengan masyarakat dan pemerintah desa. Kata kunci: Pemuda, pelestarian tradisi ABSTRACT This study aims to found out the efforts of young man in conserve ningkuk tradition in Tanjung Lalang village. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The informants in this study were three people. Data collection techniques used interviews with research subjects. Data analysis techniques used data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the results of data analysis conducted, it could be concluded that the efforts made by young man Tanjung Lalang village in conserve ningkuk tradition were creating interest in tradition by way of direct sosialization to the young man and using social media, developing tradition by participating in the implementation of the tradition, and empowerment of traditions by providing facilitaties and establishing cooperation with the comunity and village government.
