Abstract

This study aims to describe the potential increase in land and building tax in rural and urban ares with the implementation of law number 51 year 2019 in Palembang city BPPD. This research used a qualitative analysis method. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data where obtained from interview with the head of the area of land and building tax for the regional tax management agency. Whereas secondary data was obtained from the head of the field of land and building taxes, regional tax management bodies, such as documents concerning law number 51 of 2019 concerning the provision of stimulus, taxprayers outstanding tax return (sppt) for 2000 to 2019, annual land and building tax receipts. 2018 to 2019. The results showed that the receipt of land and building taxes in tukar and urban ares has increased and the efforts of the regional tax the management agency by uptading the data and providing stimulus have the potensial to increase the land and building tax in rural and urban areas
