Abstract

This research aimed to determine the number of Agricultural equipment and machine needed and the investment costs needed to increase rice production in Empat Lawang Regency, South Sumatera Province. The research was carried out in October 2019 to Desember 2019 at the Empat Lawang Regency's Agriculture and Food Crops and Horticulture Office. This research used descriptive method with presentation in the form of tabulation. The parameters used in this study are the development of the number of agricultural equipment and machinery, the level of sufficient agricultural machinery and investment costs. The results showed the adequacy level of 2-wheel tractors and rice grinding machines that was 71% and 276% or two-wheel tractors and rice grinding machines are included in more categories and the tool can be transferred to deficient districts. The level of adequacy that was included in the category of less that was a , combine harvester,power threser,and vertical dryer with a percentage of 3%, 3%, 8%.
