Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine the power requirements and water requirements of the egg hatching machines on the hatchability of quail eggs during hatching. The research was descriptive method by testing tools and literature studies related to temperature and humidity on the hatchability of eggs in automatic egg hatching machines. The parameters observed were power, water, temperature, humidity and hatchability. In this study, the results obtained for engine power requirements are 1.774 kWh, the highest temperature is 41.3 ° C and the lowest is 32.9 ° C, the highest humidity is 87% and the lowest is 65.9%. The success rate of quail eggs in the first experiment was higher than in the second and third. The level of hatchability can be affected by temperature and humidity during the hatching process because it affects the development of the embryo during the incubation period
