Abstract

Pulau Negara Village settlements often have difficulty in obtaining clean water, while fulfilling the need for clean water the community still uses swamp water directly where in terms of quality it is not necessarily maintained to increase the risk of water-related diseases such as diarrhea, cholera, scabies or skin. The study aims to analyze the problem of access and quality standards for clean water in the Ogan swamp community in Pulau Negara Village, Pemulutan Barat District. The study is qualitative with the quality test of clean water in Pulau Negara Village. Informants were taken through a purposive sampling method totaling 9 people, namely the village head, sanitarian puskesmas, and community. The source of clean water availability in Pulau Negara Village has been fulfilled but is affected by the season. Water quality test results show the lowest temperature value is 210C and the highest is 220C and the pH with the lowest value is 3.1 and the highest is 5.5 meaning it exceeds the clean water quality standard according to Permenkes Number 32 of 2017. The Government of Pulau Negara Village has established a related program clean water and the role of the Talang Pangeran Community Health Center in supporting government programs related to clean water. Water availability is fulfilled but depends on the season that affects water quality where the results of temperature and pH tests exceed the threshold value of clean water. It is necessary to provide a water filtration device for each village as well as efforts to increase the pH of the water simply by limestone deposited in a water reservoir.
