Abstract

Research on floating sediment discharge, sediment particle type, aggregate distribution, sediment concentration, calibration arc, and floating sediment transport concentration in the Ogan River, Semidang Aji District, Ogan Komering Ulu District. This research was conducted in two stages, namely data collection in the field and laboratory testing. Data collection in the field in the form of river depth data, river contour, flow velocity, and floating sediment samples were carried out for 30 days from 10 January 2020 to 9 February 2020. Sediment sampling was carried out 4 times. Observation of floating sediment is only done at a distance of 5m, 10m, and 15m from the left side of the river. which is then referred to as vertical 1 (right), vertical 2 (middle) and vertical 3 (left). Sediment sampling is done by the point method. River discharge is obtained by using the middle interval method. Testing in the laboratory to get the value of floating sediment concentration using the sediment concentration test method. The sediment concentration value on the left side of the part is smaller than the middle and right side. The average sediment concentration of 4 sampling times was 46,109 mg / L. The analysis shows that the maximum, minimum, and average sediment discharge 9376,47 kg/s (9,37 ton/s), 78,21 kg/s (0,07 ton/s), and 953,26 kg/s (0,95 ton/ s).
