Abstract
The existence of the Lematang river has become one of the sources of life for the people of the area as it is useful for irrigation and household needs. Changes of land use and increasing population density are the main causes of maximum water surface runoff compared to other factors. Land slope, soil type and vegetation factors play a role in determining the amount of runoff that occurs and water that can be stored into the soil through infiltration. Changes in land use and increasing population density, resulting in erosion and flooding. Runoff conditions for the future need to be calculated to analyze these conditions. Runoff discharge was analyzed using the SCS method and for peak discharge calculated using the SCS Synthesis Unit Hydrograph method with a 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 year return period. The rain data used was sourced from BMKG Station in South Sumatra Province. The results of the analysis of effective rainfall during 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 are 43.70 mm, 65.03 mm, 79.48 mm, 96.40 mm, 111.95 mm and 126.96 respectively. For SCS Unit Hydrograph, can use to see the relationship between discharge and duration. From the calculation of the Hydrograph SCS Synthesis Unit, the peak discharge for each anniversary of the plan 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 is obtained for the Peak Discharge, respectively at 930.73 m³/s, 1385.10 m³/s, 1693,02 m³/s, 2053.36 m³/s, 2384.61 m³/s, and 2707.27 m³/s. The calculation of HSS SCS coordinate is calculate to get the relationship between duration and peak discharge that occurs.
