Abstract
Nuklear radiation requires a measuring device that is used to measure the quantity of energy or radiation dose. This research design a system besed on Microcontroller Arduino Nano, which can monitor radioactive radiation in a room to a certain extent directly (automatically) which is tested in a laboratory practice. CAJOE detector is a Geiger Muller tube type gas that can count values per time. The radiation entering to the detector ionize the gas and produce ions, which are called the chopped numbers. The results of the chopping are digital output sent to the Microcontroller Arduino Nano, and then displayed on the LCD screen. The CAJOE detector uses a conversion count of 100 CPM = 1µSv/hour, with these limits the conditioning value mase is 150 counts per minute or 1,5µSv/hour. The source of radioactive material in the form of cobalt 60, the detector used has an error value of 11,4% and an accuracy value of 89,7%. The value of the chopped radiation to the distance creates a curve that slopes or decreases with increasing distance.
