Abstract

Doctor job satisfaction is one of the factors that contribute to the satisfaction of health services. Because it will have an impact on patient satisfaction and the services provided by doctors. This study aims to make the model that affects to increase of doctor's job satisfaction at primary health care in Indonesia. The sample was 3.078 doctors at primary health care withc3ivil servant status in Indonesia that were randomly selected. between the variables of training intensity, educational opportunities, salary and capitation incentives with job satisfaction used Spearmann correlation and for work area variables with job satisfaction using the Mann Whitney test with a significant level of 0.05.Multivariate analysis using multiple linear regression test. This study showed that there was a significant influence between intrinsic factors, that is training intensity and extrinsic factors, that are salary and capitation incentives, with doctor's job satisfaction with a significant level of <0.05. Where increasing the intensity of training, salary, and capitation incentives will increase doctor job satisfaction. The model of increasing doctor's job satisfaction at primary health care in Indonesia is shaped by the variables of training intensity, salary, and capitation incentives. The intensity of the training was the dominant factor that most influences the job satisfaction of primary health care doctors in Indonesia. This study had implications for the development of a specific job satisfaction model for health workers, that are doctors who work at primary health care in Indonesia.
