Abstract

This study aimed to find out how much influence the social alms had on the living standard of the community of Lubuklinggau City. This study used primary data taken from 80 respondents of Subdistricts of West Lubuklinggau I and East Lubuklinggau II. The analysis technique used a multiple linear regression analysis technique, namely by looking at the influence of social alms and religious alms on the income level of the people who had the alms. The results of this study showed that the social alms had a positive and significant relationship with a coefficient of 0.007147 at a probability of 0.0000 < 0.05, meaning that the social alms could only increase the income of the people who had alms by 0.7147 percent. While the religious alms had a greater coefficient that the social alms because they had a positive and significant relationship with a coefficient of 0.294216 at a probability of 0.0000 < 0.05, meaning that the religious alms were able to increase the income of the people who had alms devoutly by 0.294216 percent.
