Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of liquidity and profitability on capital structure in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population in this study was Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2018. Data collection techniques used in this study were documentation techniques. This study uses secondary data obtained from annual financial statements recorded on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2014-2018 period and the analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Current Ratio (CR) has a significant effect on Debt to Equity Ratio for manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Suggestions that can be given in this study Manufacturing companies need to consider the market value that will be given both to shareholders and potential investors as a basis for consideration in determining investment policies in the future. Investors must first gather accurate information about the company's financial statements so that they can be used as a basis for investment decisions.
