Abstract

Installation Laundry is an installation which manages the dirty linen into clean linen. The management of linen can cause stretching and degradation of linen quality so that it makes it easy for the linen to release the fibers that make it, therefore this linen management has the potential to produce dust as a source of pollution that would be detrimental to health and the enviroment, especially Total Suspended Particulate (TSP). This research is a descriptive study of Environmental Health Risk Analysis method. Workers are being respondents in this study there were 30 workers. The sampling technique is Total Sampling . TSP air samples were taken as many as 9 points in the Laundry Installation using HAZ-Dust EPAM 5000. The average value of non karsinogenik intake TSP realtime 0.00388 mg / kg / day and Noncarcinogenic intake TSP lifetime 0.01653 mg / kg / day. The average value of carcinogenic intake TSP realtime 0.00165 mg / kg / day and carcinogenic intake TSP lifetime 0.00709 mg / kg / day. The results of the research based on value risk of workers in Installation Laundry is RQ> 1 realtime as many 1 worker and RQ> 1 lifetime as many 13 workers. as for the realtime and lifetime ECR TSP value showed there are no workers who have an ECR value> 10-4. Risk management that can be done is to reduce the concentration of risk agents, reduce exposure time, and reduce the frequency of exposure.
