Abstract

Pemakaian batubara sebagai sumber energi menghasilkan limbah berupa bottom ash dan fly ash seiring banyaknya pemakaian batubara, maka limbah yang dihasilkan semakin menumpuk dan tidak terpakai. . Penggunan bottom ash dan fly ash sebagai penganti material perkerasan jalan adalah salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan benda uji standar dan benda uji yang menggunakan bottom ash dan fly ash sebagai pengganti agregat halus dan filler terhadap stabilitas, flow, VIM, VMA, VFA, dan Marshall Quotient dalam campuran aspal dengan menggunakan metode pengujian Marshall. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menguji efek pemakaian bottom ash dan fly ash sebagai pengganti agregat halus dan pengganti filler pada campuran Lapis Tipis Aspal Beton (Lataston) Lapis Aus atau Hot Rolled Sheet-Wearing Course (HRS-WC). Dari penelitian ini campuran fly ash memiliki nilai Kadar Aspal Optimum (KAO) yang paling rendah tetapi memiliki stabilitas yang tinggi, sehingga penggunaan limbah fly ash sebagai filler dapat memberikan campuran aspal yang baik.
