Abstract

Cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Indonesia masih rendah. Berdasarkan Data Riskesdas, cakupan ASI eksklusif di Indonesia sebesar 58,2%. Puskesmas 23 Ilir Kota Palembang adalah puskesmas terendah dalam cakupan ASI Eksklusif yaitu 42,42%. Salah satu penyebabnya yaitu kurangnya motivasi ibu dalam pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis motivasi ibu dalam pemberian ASI Ekslusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas 23 Ilir Kota Palembang. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel yang digunakan ibu yang memiliki anak baduta sebanyak 77 sampel yang dipilih secara Accidental Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Chi Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa di wilayah kerja Puskesmas 23 Ilir Kota Palembang hanya 45,5% ibu memberikan ASI eksklusif .Terdapat dua variabel yang berhubungan yakni tanggung jawab (p-value= 0,038) dan manfaat (p-value= 0,015) sedangkan pengalaman (p-value=0,742 dan promosi (p-value=1,000) adalah variabel yang tidak memiliki hubungan dengan motivasi ibu dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif. Kesimpulannya bahwa ibu di wilayah kerja Puskesmas 23 Ilir Kota Palembang masih rendah dalam memberikan ASI eksklusif kepada anaknya yaitu sebesar 45,5%. Berdasarkan hasil dilapangan bahwa ada hubungan antara tanggung jawab dan manfaat dan tidak ada hubungan antara pengalaman dan promosi dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif. Saran pada penelitian ini yaitu ibu menerapkan kebiasaan menyusui. Tenaga kesehatan memberikan sosialisasi, dan pendampingan untuk ibu dari awal kehamilan. Memberdayakan kader dan Gencar mempromosikan ASI eksklusif terutama meningkatkan produksi ASI melalui berbagai media serta berkerja sama dengan KUA dan majelis taklim dalam meningkatkan ASI eksklusif. The conclusion is that mothers in the working area of the 23 Ilir Health Center in Palembang City are still low in giving exclusive breastfeeding to their children, which is 45.5%. Based on the results in the field that there is a relationship between responsibility and benefits and there is no relationship between experience and promotion in exclusive breastfeeding. Suggestions in this study are mothers applying breastfeeding habits. Health workers provide socialization, and assistance for mothers from early pregnancy. Empowering cadres and Incessant promoting exclusive breastfeeding, especially increasing the production of breast milk through various media and working with KUA and majelis taklim in increasing exclusive breastfeeding.
