Abstract

This research aims to analyze the internal communication flow within Community Development Unit of the Ogan Ilir Police. Building a good flow of internal communication is the basic thing that must be done by an organization or institution. Many things can be done to foster a good flow of internal communication with members in the organization, where the most important thing are the existence of fair treatment and the giving of rights in accordance with what should be determined. This research is using primary data in the form of direct interviews with informants and qualitative research methods. This research is using the theory of Internal Communication Flow that are Downward communication, Upward communication, and Sideways communication. Accumulation data techniques used by direct interviews, and study documentation. The results of this study are that the flow of communication that has been run according to the theory used. This is already proven by applying the dimensions of downward communication flow, upward communication flow, and sideways communication flow.
