Abstract

Pusar's villagers are using the suspension bridge as access to 4 villages. The suspension bridge is being nearly severing by flooding of the Ogan river. They have a safety risk. To perform an environmental risk assessment in the community of watershed settlements. This research was qualitative. The research subjects were three key informants and seven informants. Information obtained by in-depth interviews, observations, environmental risk assessment worksheet, and checklist. The results showed that in formulation problems and risk assessment in communities watershed of the Ogan river. Some of the formulation problems and hazards were floods, landslide, children who jump into the river, buildings on the bank of streams 10 meters from the river, throw garbage in the river, steep road go to rivers, slippery stairs at rivers, rafts, dangerous animals like the pufferfish, snake and leeches, crossing suspension bridges, fishing, archery fish, and bathe in the river. The were 15 activities and hazard from problem formulations. The risk assessment showed that the most risk was in the high-risk category and the highest risk in the extreme
