Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Foreign Exchange Reserves and Foreign Debt on the Rupiah Exchange Rate. This study uses secondary data and uses time series data with annual data from 1997–2019. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the effect of foreign exchange reserves and foreign debt has a significant positive effect on the rupiah exchange rate in Indonesia. Judging from the coefficient of determination (R2), the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.60 or 60 percent, meaning that 60 percent of the variables of Foreign Exchange Reserves and External Debt have an effect of 6 percent on the Rupiah Exchange Rate in Indonesia. 40 percent are influenced by other variables that are not included in the research model.This study aims to determine the effect of Foreign Exchange Reserves and Foreign Debt on the Rupiah Exchange Rate.
