Abstract

This study aims to determine the worker's wage system and the effect of working hours, work experience, and work productivity on the wages of workers in the informal sector food and beverage business in the sharia perspective in Palembang City. The data used are primary data of 100 worker respondents. The data analysis technique used is the multiple linear regression analysis approach. The results showed that the variables working hours and work experience have a positive and significant effect on workers' wages. Meanwhile, the work productivity variable has a positive but insignificant effect on workers' wages. In the perspective of sharia, the amount of wages must be stated before starting work and paying wages to workers before their sweat is dry and providing justice between the two parties, namely the business owner and the workers. So in the results of this study, the wages of workers in the informal sector food and beverage business in Palembang City have carried out and implemented Islamic principles.
