Abstract

This research is motivated by theproblem ofpreventing denguefever that has not yet reached the target of larval free numbers. Where the unsuccessful eradication of mosquito breeding activities has caused the target of larvafree numbers not to be reached at the homes of residents, there are still many positive larvaefound For the policy to prevent dengue fever in the authority of the Palembang City Sukarami Community Health Center, the regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No.581 I menkes I SK I VII I 1992 regarding the eradication of dengue fever. This study uses the Ripley and Franklin Implementation theory through three variables, namely the level of compliance, the smooth functioning of routine routines, the realization of the desired performance and impact. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of documentation, observation and in-depth interviews. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the dengue prevention policy in the area of authority in Palembang City voluntary puskesmas in the implementation process is ineffective and not yet fully optimal because even though all stages are in accordance with the rules, the target is not achieved This can be seen from the obstacles in the field where the community itself does not want to give space to the puskesmas to provide counseling and do larvae examinations so that the puskesmas have difficulty in conducting counseling and checking residents' homes. Suggestions that can be given to the implementor The Puskesmas staff and cadres should try to understand the community about this dengue prevention policy• by informing them about Sop and existing procedures and the Puskesmas staff carrying out routine mosquito nest eradication activities routinely every 1 month and carrying out mass abatation evenly in the working area once every 3 months.
