Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam membuat grafik pada materi kinematika di SMA N 1 Indralaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes berupa 10 soal essai. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMA N 1 Indralaya di kelas X IPA 3 tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 33 peserta didik. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam membuat grafik masih tergolong rendah, yang ditunjukkan kemampuan dalam membuat grafik jarak terhadap waktu siswa paling banyak memperoleh skor 2 yaitu sebesar 40.9 %, untuk membuat grafik kecepatan terhadap waktu siswa paling banyak memperoleh skor 2 yaitu sebesar 33.7 %, dan untuk membuat grafik percepatan terhadap waktu siswa paling banyak memperoleh skor 1 yaitu sebesar 37.37 %. Secara umum dalam membuat grafik perlu dibangun kemampuan dalam memahami konsep kinematika pada siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan interpretasi yang baik. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan acuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membuat grafik kinematika.
