Abstract

Drinking water is water used for human consumption. According to the Ministry of Health, the requirements for drinking water are tasteless, odorless, colorless, does not contain harmful microorganisms, and does not contain heavy metals. Therefore, water that is not suitable for consumption is filtered first using the TDS Sensor Design for Atmega328-based Water Filters which is assisted by reverse osmosis (ro, arduino, tds and valves, as a tool designed to filter water according to its turbidity level at a higher cost. The way the TDS sensor works on a water filter based on atmega 328 is to read the TDS sensor data after initialization is carried out, then the data will be sent to Arduino UNO, if the water does not comply with the standard of drinking water then it will go into reverse osmosis and filtration Again, the average tds sensor measurement results were 1.9616 for clean water, 2.0326 for cloudy water, 2.2998 for very cloudy, with an initial test of 1183 water, 75 ppm to 35 ppm after filtering several times.
