Abstract

This study aimed to determine students' compliance towards the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when practicing bench work at SMKN 2 Palembang. This study used descriptive research type, with techniques of data collection for this study was questionnaire. The questionnaire was used to answer the questions presented. The results of questionnaire were used to obtain data about students' compliance towards the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when practicing bench work at SMKN 2 Palembang. Based on the calculation results, valid questions were obtained as many as 10 questions, namely 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and 10 because has a value of validaty rxy>rtable 5% (13 students = 0.553). Based on the results of research that had been conducted by researchers during the course of research in class XI Tpm 1 SMKN 2 Palembang in the academic year 2020/2021. It showed that the students of class XI TPM1 already know and comply with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and had been carried out according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in schools. The Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the school meets the requirements of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
