Abstract
Neopentil Glycol factory is planned in Citangkil, Banten Province. This factory has an area of 4.38 hectares with a capacity of 38,000 tons per year. The process for making Neopentyl Glycol is based on US Patent No. 2019/10336672 B2. The reaction takes place in the Fix Bed Reactor (Reaktor-01) and Trickle Bed Reactor (Reaktor-02), at 80 ° C, 1 atm pressure with Amberlyst-A21 catalyst in Reaktor-01 and at 150 ° C, pressure 49, 35 atm with Copper Chromite catalyst on Reactor-02. This factory is a company in the form of a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a line and staff organizational system, led by a president director with a total of 113 employees.
