Abstract

CV. Media Smart Indonesia (MSI) is a Goods and Services Procurement Company engaged in printing. This company accepts orders in the form of brochures, letterheads, invitations, business cards, calendars, prayer books, banners, Id cards, notes, and others. Problems that often occur in the CV. MSI Palembang which is often the request that is not following the estimates so that there is a buildup of material and become damaged. As a result CV. MSI Palembang suffers losses due to the high cost of purchasing raw materials and the sale cannot be obtained in real-time. One reason is the recording is still done manually. Therefore, this research will develop an item management system using the Time Series method including the Linear Trend Regression project method as a forecast calculation formula. The system can help predict the number of sales that will be sold the following month. The results of this study are websites that will display sales forecast results.
