Abstract

This study aimed to find out more about the analysis of the implementation of national defense training activities in increasing the sense of patriotism in SMKN 3 Jambi. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were documentation, interview and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation and presentation of conclusions. The validity test of the data were used a credibility test, transferability test, dependability test and confirmability test. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the analysis of the implementation of national defense training activities in increasing the sense of patriotism in SMKN 3 Jambi with a program of training discipline, basic knowledge of marching lines, Pancasila practice and school introduction aimed at changing students’ paradigms towards national symbols, fostering a high spirit of patriotism and and preparing themselves in dealing with problems within the scope of family, school, community and country.
