Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam Tbk, in particular utilizes andesite reserves to be mined for the benefit of all. The research begins with conducting literature studies, field studies and data collection with the help of special tools such as a stopwatch, camera, control ball, and meter. Then perform data analysis using qualitative methods (Split Desktop V.2.0 application) and quantitative (manual calculations and ms. Excel) in order to get a conclusion. By utilizing real andesite reserves, demolition activities such as drilling and blasting can be carried out. PT. Bukit Asam Tbk. has a blasting target of 410,000 bcm/year. The value of drilling productivity used at PT. Bukit Asam Tbk. amounting to 69.76-254.3 bcm / hour. The blasting was carried out seven times with an average powder factor value of 0.32 kg/bcm. The resulting fragmentation is in accordance with the company's target where the boulder percentage is not more than 25%. The fragmentation was excavated and loaded with the 200 pc komatsu backhoe with a total average productivity of 63.25 bcm/hour. The correlation between fragmentation and digging time, circulation time and backhoe productivity is low. This happened due to the influence of the difficult work field and the waiting time for loading equipment. Meanwhile, the drilling and blasting costs incurred by the company totaled Rp. 2,156,589.65/hour or the equivalent of Rp. 6,655.13/bcm.
