Abstract

Sebuah prototipe rancangan dari linear pusher berbasis motor DC yang terdiri dari tiga domain utama, yaitu unit elektrikal dengan penggunaan motor DC dengan magnet permanen (PMDC), unit mekanikal dengan sistem transmisi puli dan gigi reducer, direct-driven melalui gigi rack dan pinion dan unit kendali. Oleh karena itu, sistem pusher ini memerlukan sistem proteksi terutama pada motor PMDC agar terhindar dari kelebihan arus dan panas berlebih. Prinsip kerja sistem proteksi pasif dan aktif ini harus memutus sirkuit motor DC (atau modul driver-nya) dari sumber daya listrik secara otomatis). Dari hasil pengujian sistem proteksi pasif dipasangkan pada pusher suhu pendingin atau heatsink dari modul driver motor DC tidak menghasilkan perubahan yang besar yang disebabkan oleh kecilnya kapasitas motor DC yang digunakan. Dan setelah sistem proteksi aktif berbasis relay dipasangkan pada Pusher motor DC ketika nilai arus DC melebihi 100 mA maka modul relay mematikan motor DC sehingga nilai arus menjadi nol (relay menjadi aktif pada waktu 59 detik.
