Abstract
Determinants of Postpartum Hemmorage Case in Indonesia (Analysis of Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey 2017) xix + 98 pages, 40 table, 4 picture, 4 attachmmments ABSTRACT Postpartum bleeding is the most frequent bleeding caused by the mother. Postpartum hemorrhage is the bleeding that most often causes death in mothers. WHO data shows that 27.1% of maternal deaths are due to bleeding. . Based on the Indonesian Health Demographics survey in 2017 mentions mothers who have had bleeding complications of 7.0 percent. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors related to the incidence of postpartum bleeding in Indonesia. This research is a quantitative study with the design of cross sectional studies and the use of secondary SDKI 2017. The variables studied include Mother's age, parity, birth distance, long childbirth, macrosomia, type of childbirth, long Fe consumption, ANC visit, Childbirth Helper, and delivery place with postpartum bleeding in Indonesia. Samples used by all respondents who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria of 7962 respondents. Analysis of data on this research using Complex Sample analysis and Univariate tested, bivariate, and multivariate. The results showed respondents who did postpartum hemorrhage by 6,7%. The results of multivariate analysis showed that mothers who had a participation relationship to the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage were prolonged labor (p-value = <0,0001), and type of delivery (p-value = 0,015). The most dominant factor in the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage is prolonged labor (PR= 2,856 ; 95% CI= 2,305-3,540) after being controlled with other variables. Early detection of prologed labor can be carried out using partograph recording so that the labor process can be monitored so that blending due to prologed labor can be prevented and stage III management as an intervetion to prevent postpartum hemmorage.
