Abstract

The laboratory is a place for scientific research, experimentation, measurement and scientific training, according to Susilowati (2012). The laboratory is also inseparable from the use of materials classified as very dangerous to the human body. The existence of a laboratory, especially in the field of chemistry, is an important means of supporting the achievement of success in the research process. So that the chemical laboratory must be equipped with adequate administration, layout, laboratory, materials and of course laboratory equipment. PT. Dira Sonita is one of the official agents for selling chemical tools and chemicals in Palembang, which has been established since 1989 (Source: deed of company establishment) and is located at Jalan Veteran, Al Rachmad Mosque Lorong No.270 D, 20 Ilir D. I, Ilir Team. I, Palembang City, South Sumatra 30126, Indonesia. Based on the results of the initial interview at the marketing department of PT. Dira Sonita, it is known that the sales and marketing system currently used is direct selling to customers and related agencies. Some of the obstacles when using the system are PT. Dira Sonita has difficulty in carrying out the sales and marketing process to reach customers who come from outside Palembang City.
